Company Profile
Evolved Digital Solutions was conceived and created by radiologists for radiologists.
The company began when the largest teleradiology practice in the US needed a better IT solution to
serve clients in 17 states. The radiologists wanted tools that were simpler and faster to use, to
increase their productivity and speed. For their practice to continue growing, they needed break-through ideas.
So in 1996, these founders of InPhact (Information Physicians Action) gathered a team of bright young
software aces and built an entirely new kind of web-based, digital imaging management process. They
patented new multi-site archiving code and launched the first medical imaging ASP (application service provider) in the US.
They built a world-class data center, added a workflow engine, then scheduling. They founded a professional
online transcription service. Next they assembled a support call center staffed around the clock, not just
with call-takers but with people who could actually solve problems.
These radiologists knew what they wanted. They designed tools that made sense for real doctors and
technicians in the real, day-to-day world of radiology.
In 2003, InPhact merged with Electromed Imaging Inc., a leader in cardiology imaging management,
and the new company became Evolved Digital Solutions. In 2004, they signed an agreement with ScImage Inc.
to market a remarkable new PACS solution, combining a full suite of radiology and cardiology imaging and information tools.
Since its inception, Evolved has forged partnerships with over 100 hospital and imaging facilities across North America.
Not just another RIS/PACS hardware vendor, Evolved works in a true collaboration with clients, to solve business problems
and grow the bottom line.
The company focuses on an underserved market - small and mid-sized hospitals and imaging centers who lack the
resources to build their own full-featured imaging solution. More and more, these medical facilities are choosing
the fully managed, turnkey service from Evolved, with a pay-as-you-go financial model that puts the newest imaging
management tools within reach.
The Evolved team can integrate with any system, any hardware, any software. Its people take the time to understand
what clients need. Then they provide complete design, training, installation and ongoing management - and they do
it well because they know how. Technology upgrades and support are included. Evolved even offers a Marketing Assistance
Program to help clients communicate their digital capabilities to referring physicians and the public.
Evolved Digital Solutions transforms the way medical imaging goes digital - with a full solution of people, process and technology.
